Hillside

Coined the cabin in the sky, this 400-square-foot project is perched above a garage, and was initially slated for demolition. Due to the high cost of building new construction on a hillside we, alongside the incredible Archers design team, transformed this small room into a warm and welcoming home. The apartment now features enameled plywood floor, newly revealed redwood joists, a newly windowed bathroom, and a bedroom defined by a raised stainless steel platform. The petite pad packs in big style punch to accompany the striking views.
